Dear Premier Credit Union Members,

As we navigate through the challenges the coronavirus (COVID-19) has placed on our staff, our members, and our community, Premier Credit Union will always consider the safety and well-being of our staff and members as the cornerstone of our business. Our Members have placed their trust in us as their Credit Union to always be there for them in good times and bad. We want to assure you that we value that trust and plan to continue providing financial services well into the future.

To continue to operate in a safe and effective manner so that you continue to receive access to your financial needs, Premier’s Leadership and Board have decided to temporarily suspend lobby hours in our 4 branches located in Des Moines, West Des Moines, and Ames. Our drive-up windows will remain open.

We will increase staff to manage phone traffic and email correspondence. If you do need to meet in person at one of our locations, we ask that you set up an appointment by calling us at 515-282-1611. We will arrange to meet with you if you do not have access to any of our digital and online services.

I would like to emphasize that your funds are safe and sound. Premier Credit Union is a very successful and strong credit union and is eager to continue offering you access to meet all your financial needs. We feel at this point these steps we’re taking will protect our staff, our members and community long into the future.

Steve Flamm

Premier Credit Union’s Response to Coronavirus (COVID-19) Outbreak

The safety and security of our members and staff at Premier Credit Union is always our top priority. Amid concerns about the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to assure you that we have everything in place to continue serving your financial needs as this situation develops.

To continue to operate safely and effectively, we are continuously receiving and reviewing updates on the coronavirus from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and state health departments. In addition, we are providing regular communication and instruction on Premier’s continuity plan to our staff to keep them informed and to ensure they have the resources they need to remain healthy while also serving the needs of our members.
